This route has 5,902 ft. in elevation gain. Incredible scenery. It starts and ends at Upper Greenhorn Park, starting at 7am on Saturday May 16th, 2026 with police escort through Yreka. This is the old traditional Siskiyou Century which goes over Forest Mt. into and through Scott Valley and back over Gazelle Mtn. 5 rest stops. All pavement. Meal and entertainment at the finish. Cost $85. Beer for purchase.

This is our metric century with 2,302 ft. of elevation gain. Exactly the same as our 2025 route. Saturday May 16th 2026. It starts at Upper Greenhorn Park at 8am on Saturday May 16th with a police escort through town, goes south to Edgewood, then back through Shasta Valley. There are 4 rest stops, with lots of food. Meal and entertainment at the finish, and lots of beer. Cost $75. Beer for purchase. Starts at 8am.

62 mile gravel ride on Sunday May 17th 2026, starting at 8am, to Cram Gulch, over Scarface to Ft. Jones, then over Greenhorn Summit and back to the park. Very challenging. 6,474 ft. Elevation gain. Great scenery! Rest stops, sag wagons, end of ride meal and beer for purchase. A favorite of JMBA. It's the best kept secret in gravel rides on the West Coast.

We've added a gravel ride for Saturday May 16th to give our gravel riders 2 days of gravel fun! This ride stays in Shasta Valley and the hills along the East side of the valley. 58 miles, 2,279 ft. of elevation gain. Three nice sections of gravel. Cost $65. Starts at 8am from Upper Greenhorn Park. Same scenery as above also.

Starts at Upper Greenhorn Park in Yreka at 9 am on Saturday May 16th with a police escort through town. Winds through beautiful Shasta Valley with 3 rest stops at Little Shasta Church and the Montague Railroad Park, coming and going. End of ride meal with beer and entertainment at the finish. 1534 ft. of elevation gain. Gorgeous views of Mt. Shasta. Cost $55. Beer for purchase.

This is a mostly gravel 39 mile route with 3 steep hill climbs over Greenhorn Summit and back over a slightly different route. You will be challenged. 3 rest stops- at the summit either way and in Fort Jones. 4,114 ft. of elevation gain. Sag wagon support. End of ride meal and entertainment and beer for purchase. Starts at 9am on Sunday May 17th from Upper Greenhorn Park. $55.

Some hills with 1,055 ft. of elevation gain. Starts at 9 am at Upper Greenhorn Park on Saturday May 16th with a police escort through town. One rest stop at the Montague Railroad Depot Museum. End of ride meal, beer and entertainment at the park. Cost $35. Beer for purchase.
This is a ride on Sunday May 17th to give our all pavement riders 2 days of fun. This will start and finish in Fort Jones, over the hill from Yreka at 9am. 29 miles with 1,033 ft of elevation gain, or you can add a loop to make it 38.6 miles.(1,159ft). Goes through Quartz Valley and Scott Valley. End of ride meal back at Upper Greenhorn Park. Beautiful scenery! Cost $50.

Things to do in and around Yreka May 15-17th
At Greenhorn Park there is an 18 hole disc golf course- bring your discs!
At Greenhorn Park there are 9 miles of trails- 1 mile of paved trail around the lake and the rest is packed dirt for hiking or biking. I am attaching a map of the trails.
At Greenhorn Park- fishing is great for trout and bass. Make sure you have your fishing license with you.
At Fort Jones, CA- a 20 minute drive from Yreka-GlowFest- a film and music festival going on May 14-16th. Visit glowfest.org for the schedule of showings.
The Road House in Yreka- a restaurant and bar with live music usually on Saturday evening- call to check the status and time.
The Wine Bar in Yreka- a Bistro restaurant and wine/beer bar- possibly live music Friday May 15th. Great atmosphere.
Zephyr Books and Coffee in Yreka- the place to go in Yreka for coffee and visiting, and to find a great book to read.
Starbucks of Yreka- for all you who are addicted to Starbuck’s- there are many!
Siskiyou Family YMCA- Free showers available for those who are camping. Anyone can visit- free to YMCA members anywhere and $5 guest fee for drop ins who are not camping.
Natalee Thai restaurant in Yreka- great food! Eat in or take out.
Denny Bar Restaurant, bar & Distillery, in Etna, a 35 minute drive from Yreka.

Siskiyou Historic Tour- Saturday May 16th 1pm- meet at corner of Third St and North St. This is a walking tour of Third St Historic homes and architecture. A $5 donation is suggested.
Siskiyou County Museum- 910 S Main St, Yreka, Open 9am-3pm Tues- Saturday. Admission $3 There are both indoor and outdoor exhibits.
Smoked Tomato Pie- Restaurant and bar- mainly pizza, sandwiches and salads. Live music on Saturday evening 6-8pm. The best pizza! 106 Ranch Ln, Yreka
California Peony Co.- a working peony farm- Open Thursday- Sunday the 14th-17th, 10am-4pm, 10703 S State Hwy 3, Callahan, CA- visit their website for more info and directions- californiapeonycompany.com. The Century ride passes close to the entrance of this farm. Fields of peonies in bloom at this time.
Shopping on Miner St.- Lona Mae’s Boutique for stylish women’s clothing and gifts- open Friday 10:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday 10:30-4pm, Miner Street Mercantile for Pendleton clothing and gifts, cards, toys, baby items. Lots of local items as well- open Friday and Saturday 10am-5pm. Both closed on Sunday.
