MAKING A Difference

• We are a group of individuals in the community of Yreka Ca, who come together twice a month for a time of fellowship and learning. There is a speaker at our monthly lunch meeting with great informational and educational topics. Our other meeting of each month is a social event at a Rotarian's house or other venue. We also do projects and events at other times to better our community and to build relationships.  Our big fundraising event is the Siskiyou Scenic Bicycle Tour, which is held May each year. We meet every 3rd Wednesday of the month at noon at The Wine Bar Restaurant, 314 S. Broadway St. , Yreka.  Please feel free to join us for lunch any time. Our current local project is  to upgrade the Labyrinth Garden at Madrone Hospice.

Rotary is an international service organization made up of individual clubs.  It was started in 1905 by Paul Harris an attorney in Chicago with 3 friends who wanted to rekindle the spirit of friendliness they had known in their hometowns. The Rotary Club of Yreka was chartered in 1946.  It has been an integral part of the Yreka community for more than 70 years.
