What is Rotary?
Rotary is an international service organization made up of individual clubs. The Rotary Club of Yreka was chartered in November of 1946. It has been an integral part of the Yreka community for more than 70 years.
Any person who is an adult member of our community is welcome to join.
The Rotary Club of Yreka has a rich heritage as a service organization and our members work hard to make a difference in our community.Perhaps you've seen a need in your community and wondered how you could help.
Perhaps you want to use your professional skills to help others - or even learn new skills. If you are seeking connections and want to network with other service-minded professionals in your community or abroad then join us to see if Rotary is right for you.
We meet every Wednesday at noon at the Yreka Elks Lodge 332 W Miner Street . Mailing Address: PO Box 942 Yreka, CA 96097

Our Club sponsors the Top 100 educational awards for Jr. High and High School youth in our community, providing incredible scholarships. We honor the top High School scholars each month at our club. We also give dictionaries to all the 3rd graders in our community.
We prepare a Thanksgiving feast for our seniors at the community center each year.
We host the Siskiyou Scenic Bicycle Tour the first Saturday in May, which brings bicyclists from all over the country into our community to taste the joys of Siskiyou County.
We also provide mini-grants to various groups in our community for projects, and we ourselves do projects in the community such as park benches, doggie waste bag stations, restorations and clean-ups.
This event is held the first Saturday in May each year.
This upcoming year's event is May 2nd, 2020 and starts and finishes at Upper Greenhorn Park in Yreka.
We have rides of 103, 90, 68, 38, 21 and 8 miles. Something for everyone in the family and for all skill levels.
These rides are supported tours through amazingly beautiful Siskiyou County, with at least 1 different route each year.
