Rotary is an international service organization made up of individual clubs. The Rotary Club of Yreka was chartered in November of 1946. It has been an integral part of the Yreka community for more than 70 years.

Our Club sponsors the Top 100 educational awards for Jr. High and High School youth in our community, providing incredible scholarships. We honor the top High School scholars each month at our club. We send 3 high school students to Rotary Youth Leadership Academy camp every summer. We also give dictionaries to all the 3rd graders in ou
Our Club sponsors the Top 100 educational awards for Jr. High and High School youth in our community, providing incredible scholarships. We honor the top High School scholars each month at our club. We send 3 high school students to Rotary Youth Leadership Academy camp every summer. We also give dictionaries to all the 3rd graders in our community.
We prepare a Thanksgiving feast for our seniors at the community center each year. We have replaced the picnic tables at Upper Greenhorn Park with cement, long lasting and maintenance free tables. We are currently upgrading the Labyrinth Garden at Madrone Hospice.
We host the Siskiyou Scenic Bicycle Tour in May, which brings bicyclists from all over the country into our community to taste the joys of Siskiyou County.
We also provide mini-grants to various groups in our community for projects, and we ourselves do projects in the community such as park benches, doggie waste bag stations, new cement picnic tables in Greenhorn Park, restorations and clean-ups.
This event is held in May each year.
Our next event will be May 17th & 18th, 2025, and starts and finishes at Upper Greenhorn Park in Yreka.
We have rides of 104, 67, 40 and 21 miles on all pavement, and 1 of 59 miles on part gravel on the 17th and 2 gravel rides and 1 all pavement ride on the 18th, of 62, 39 and 35 miles.

These rides are supported tours through amazingly beautiful Siskiyou County, with at least 1 different route each year.
The rides include a ride packet with various small gifts, multiple rest stops with food and beverages, sag wagon support on all routes to help you with any issues, and an end of ride meal at the park. Beer available for purchase.
