We had a great event on May 4th, 2019! We had perfect weather and all went well. Thanks to everyone who participated, riders, volunteers and all. We hope that you join us again in 2020 on May 2nd. The website will be updated soon with all the new information for 2020. We will probably use the same routes again in 2020, but after that we will probably go to new routes to highlight other areas of our beautiful county. Please feel free to give us suggestions.
The Siskiyou Century is being revived as the Siskiyou Scenic Bicycle Tour and will be in the Spring, to avoid wildfire smoke. The ride will be May 4th, 2019. The ride will feature an 81 mile loop around Irongate and Copco Lakes, with 9.2 miles of gravel in various spots along the route. There will also be many all pavement routes, 69, 38, 21 and 8 mile routes. The rides will all start and finish at Upper Greenhorn Park in Yreka. There will be a great meal at the end of the ride with beverages and music to cap off your day. We look forward to seeing you then! The 2 long rides will start at 8am, all others at 10am. Camping available at the park for $15/night. Multiple rest stops and sag wagons on all routes. Historical information pamphlet. The 81 mile route has 4,692 ft. of elevation gain. Look at the maps and route descriptions!!!
All bikes are welcome, including electric bikes. Picadilly Bikes out of Ashland, OR will be at the event with demo electric bikes to try out in the afternoon.
